Piano Lessons

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and I left the public school system I started focusing on building my private lesson studio to make this my primary source of income. When I started marketing myself as a private teacher I found that many people wanted to learn piano. Several parents were asking if I would be willing to teach their children piano, but I had never taught piano lessons before.

I did not start playing the piano regularly until college, so I was not sure that I would be best equipped to teach piano lessons. Thankfully, I have been fortunate to work with incredible parents who showed me understanding and patience and have encouraged me to build this skill set with their students.

I have found that I absolutely love teaching beginning piano students! I have developed a curriculum that I feel helps students develop the basics and nurtures a love of playing. While I do not feel comfortable teaching intermediate or advanced piano students, I would be more than happy to teach more beginners. Once my piano students get to a point where I feel they are too advanced for me to best guide them, I know several great piano teachers that I can recommend to them who are very gifted in teaching intermediate and advanced students.
